# Society of Indian Missions > Society of Indian Missions (SIM) is a Christian nonprofit organization that has been serving Native American communities in the United States and Canada since 1951. SIM evangelizes, disciples, and mentors Native Americans in a life of scriptural holiness, primarily among the Sicangu (Rosebud) Sioux on the Rosebud Indian Reservation and the Oglala Sioux on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. SIM was founded by Raymond Montour and is led today by a volunteer board of directors, with missionary staff families living and working in the communities they serve. SIM also supports Building Hope Enterprise, a construction and discipleship ministry on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. ## Main Pages - [About Us](https://www.societyofindianmissions.org/about-us/): SIM's history since 1951, mission statement, and core values. - [Leadership](https://www.societyofindianmissions.org/leadership/): SIM's board of directors, with bios and roles (President, Vice President, Chairman, Secretary, Members-at-Large, Members Emeritus). - [Staff](https://www.societyofindianmissions.org/staff/): Missionary families serving on the Rosebud and Pine Ridge Indian Reservations in South Dakota. - [Giving](https://www.societyofindianmissions.org/give/): How to donate (online, check, phone, PayPal, Cash App), designated giving funds, how to volunteer, and how to join the prayer team.
