Society of Indian Missions (SIM) is a Christian organization that has been serving Native American communities in the United States and Canada since 1951. Our mission is to evangelize, disciple, and mentor Native Americans in a life of scriptural holiness.
SIM staff live and work among the Sicangu (Rosebud) Sioux on the Rosebud Indian Reservation and the Oglala Sioux on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, building relationships, planting churches, discipling believers, and mentoring leaders.
SIM was founded by Raymond Montour, who felt a call from God to establish mission churches and raise up Native workers, starting his ministry in South Dakota in 1951.

Building Hope Enterprise (BHE) is an extension of SIM’s mission that provides high-quality construction and discipleship to families on the Rosebud Indian Reservation, run by SIM staff member Jonathan Lucas.
